Terms & Conditions

  • “Recycling Green Point” only accepts plastic bottles/ aluminium cans* of drinking water. Non-plastic bottles/ non-aluminium cans* and any tea, soft drink, juice and flavoured beverage are not accepted at this moment.
  • “Recycling Green Point” accepts the recycling of plastic bottles/ aluminium cans* (volume of 1.8L or below) from drinking water brands that can be purchased in Hong Kong. For any special cases, please contact our customer service hotline at 2660 1881.
  • Users have to retain the bottle/can in good condition with complete bottle/ aluminium cans* sleeve or label printed on bottles, in order to ensure the bottles/ cans* to be accepted by the Vending Machine. Users are not encouraged to remove the bottle cap or label from the bottle/ can*.
  • “Recycling Green Point” only accepts plastic water bottles/ aluminium water cans* with no liquid inside. Users have to empty the bottles/ aluminium cans* before using the machine to Vending Machine can run smoothly.
  • Users should follow the steps shown on the Vending Machine screen to recycle. Users can recycle a maximum of 10 bottles/ aluminium cans* for every single time of logging in the Machine. However, only 1 bottle/ aluminium can* should be inserted for every time the recycling door opens, to avoid interrupting the normal operations.
  • Users should log into “Recycling Green Point” as member of Watsons Water “Drops of Fun” Reward Scheme, by scanning “My QR Code” inside the “Drops of Fun” mobile app onto the Vending Machine, in order to earn Green Points that can be received upon successful recycling of bottles/ aluminium cans*.

  • In order to earn Green Point rewards by recycling, users have to get accessed to the internet using effective mobile communication devices to log in the Vending Machine as “Drops of Fun” member. No service of subsequent redemption of Green Points will be available.

Watsons Water x AlipayHK “Plastic Bottle/ Aluminium Can* Recycling Reward Program” Details:

  • Promotion Period is from now on till 31 July, 2022.
  • Users have to successfully register as member of Watsons Water “Drops of Fun” and AlipayHK in advance to enjoy the cash rebate.
  • Users have to assure AlipayHK account is valid and reserve sufficient Top-up value is available. Otherwise users will be losing the eligibility for earning the cash rebate without prior notice.
  • Start from 1st November 2021, upon successful recycling of plastic water bottles/ aluminium water cans* on Watsons Water “ Smart Water Bottle Reverse Vending Machine”, users not only can earn green point in “Drops of Fun” app, but also can earn free top-up value through AlipayHK:
         - HK$0.1 cash rebate for every water bottle/ Water aluminium cans* of successful recycled
  • Actual amount of cash rebate that user can earn after successful recycling shall base on system record as final. When logged in as Member on the machine, users are deemed to have agreed with the related terms and condition applied without any dispute.
  • Cash rebate amount shall prevail from system record upon users recycled water bottles/ Water aluminium cans* successfully. By using Member Login in Recycling Green Point Machine, it means user accepted the above terms and conditions and shall raise no objection.
